Client description: Zebra Telecom is the leader on the market of providing IP telephony services and one of the leading Internet access providers. Today Zebra Telecom is a comprehensive communication service provider operating on the corporate, consumer and inter-provider markets in nine regions of Russia. As of the middle of 2006 it is part of the Rostelecom group of companies.

Project Description
During the implementation of the project GMCS automated all financial reporting sectors in compliance to Russian standards of bookkeeping, including fixed assets accounting, settlements with suppliers and clients, cash assets accounting, inventory accounting, customer relations, production cost calculation and determining financial results by service. GMCS consultants also automated fixed assets accounting according to international standards, designed Zebra Telecom corporate reporting forms fully complying to Rostelecom standards. In order to obtain consolidated statements within the Rostelecom group a data consolidation mechanism was designed and implemented, and financial budgeting and running bids for cash assets were automated. The foundation of the implemented solution was the GMCS Telecom business application, designed based on Microsoft Dynamics AX with account of the specifics of the telecommunication industry. Launch of the finance management system based on Microsoft Dynamics AX conducted in October 2007.
