Client description: GAZ Group– is the largest Russian manufacturer of commercial vehicles and road-building machinery. GAZ Group includes OJSC “GAZ”, 15 automobile construction businesses in Russia, the British company LDV, sales and servicing organizations.

Project Description
As part of the project GMCS carried out works on the construction of a modern management system for GAZ Group’s new plant for the assembly of vehicles based on the Chrysler JR41 platform. The basis of the automated system was formed by a reference model produced by Infor expressly for enterprises of the automotive industry, and thus, the launch of the new plant allowed GAZ group to reach the level of international automobile manufacturers. Development of the design solution and its implementation within Infor ERP LN was carried out in just 12 months by a joint international working group, which included GMCS consultants. Having previously successfully collaborated with GAZ Group enterprises and taking into account the complexity of automobile manufacturing, GMCS refined Infor’s reference model to better suit the specifics of the client’s business. Additionally, GMCS adapted the system to include tax accounting and bookkeeping in compliance with Russian legislation. Today, the installed system provides step-by-step management of the main business processes of manufacturing, including purchase of required components and line assembly.
