Client description: GlobalTel is the exclusive provider of the global mobile and fixed multi-service satellite communication system Globalstar in Russia. It is part of the Rostelecom group of companies.

Project Description
Establishment of a system of unified consolidated financial reporting at GlobalTel and Rostelecom was the project’s key task, which was successfully accomplished by GMCS. The solution introduced at GlobalTel by GMCS involved the implementation of the Microsoft Dynamics AX system and the GMCS Telecom industry business application, developed and successfully tested in several telecommunication projects. In order to develop a single accounting model GMCS project team specialists unified reporting processes and designed GlobalTel corporate reporting forms fully complying to standards of the parent organization. Also during the establishment of the financial management system GMCS consultants automated reporting in compliance to Russian bookkeeping standards, fixed assets accounting according to international standards, formation of consolidated statements, financial budgeting and running bids for cash assets
