Client description: Gazprom is the largest gas company in the world. Gazprom accounts for around 20% world and 90% Russian gas production. Gazkomplektimpex is the centralized supplier of material and technical resources to Gazprom sites.

Project Description
At the moment GMCS is carrying out works for the creation of an information system for the management of Gazprom material and technical resources. The project for the introduction of the system is being implemented based on SAP solutions in Gazprom headquarters, as well as within its subsidiary – Gazkomplektimpex. The main result of the project shall be the increase of efficiency of material and technical procurement of Gazprom structures and large projects. Implementation of the project shall allow to unify procurement processes by consolidating all participants of the supply chain within a single information space. The integrated solution shall cover the processes of administrative accounting, concluding of contracts for resource supply and control over their financing. Moreover, GMCS shall construct a research and information subsystem, which will provide reporting on the main operations of material and technical procurement from various perspectives. The project started in the beginning of 2007.
