Client description: About the client: In 1998 by decision of the Ministry for Nuclear Energy of the Russian Federation Atomstroyexport was established in order to efficiently develop the export of produce of Russian enterprises for nuclear energy sites. Atomstroyexport was established on the basis of Atomenergoexport and Zarubezhatomstroy – enterprises with over 25 years of experience in cooperating with foreign states on the construction, operation and modernization of NPPs. Today Atomstroyexport possesses both unique experience and significant technical potential for activities on the global market.

Project Description
The decision to implement the “Parus 8” management system was made in 2001. As a result of the significant increase in the volume of contract obligations, as well as the need to effectively manage receivables and payables, in 2003 the company’s management proceeded to modernize the existing management system. During the first stage GMCS carried out works for the automation of the processes of procurement and warehouse management, and implementation in the headquarters of Atomstroyexport. At the second stage, pursuant to the proposed recommendations, a system was launched into operation for financial reporting and bookkeeping on business processes: settlements with suppliers, cash expenditures and inflows, cost accounting with ex analysis. GMCS specialists also developed methodological documentation on the optimization of the normative-reference system and accounting of contract activities; the automation model for a number of existing business processes (coordination of payments, conducting final and corrective operations) was improved.
