GMCS entered the TOP 30 largest IT suppliers for industry

CNews Analytics released the rating "Digitalization of Industry 2022", in which it analyzed the problems and prospects of automation of industrial enterprises, and also gave forecasts for the future. GMCS took the 27th place in the ranking, rising 3 lines up compared to the previous year.

By the end of 2021, GMCS revenue in this area showed a 20% increase and amounted to 880,647 thousand rubles. The key customers of GMCS in the industry are RUSAL, ALROSA, Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works, Roscosmos State Corporation, Sinara-Transport Machines, Sokar Energy Resources, etc.

Analysts note that the costs of the Russian industry for digitalization have increased markedly. The next driver of growth will be the need for import substitution of solutions from Western vendors that have left the Russian market – already in 2025, the results of the activities of specialized industrial competence centers should appear.

"I share the opinion of experts that the Russian industry is in need of domestic IT solutions. We work with many leading Russian vendors and solve key tasks of automation of industrial enterprises, ranging from ERP and HR-Tech to BI and RPA, and also offer low-code solutions and custom development. Separately, I would like to mention optimization solutions and predictive analytics using mathematical models, which are increasingly being used in industry. Our company also has experience in migrating complex corporate solutions, including EAM solutions, from Western software to Russian. We expect that this year the number of migration projects will increase due to deferred demand," comments Stanislav Otinov, Director of the Production Systems Department, GMCS.
